अङ्गदसंवादः / Sampati and Angada: Genealogy, Jatayu, and the Search Vow

बभूवर्क्षरजा नाम वानरेन्द्रः प्रतापवान्।ममार्यः पार्थिवः पक्षिन् धार्मिक स्तस्य चात्मजौ।।4.57.12।सुग्रीवश्चैव वाली च पुत्रावोघबलावुभौ।लोकेविश्रुतकर्माभूद्राजा वाली पिता मम।।4.57.13।।

babhūv ṛkṣarajā nāma vānarendraḥ pratāpavān |

mamāryaḥ pārthivaḥ pakṣin dhārmikas tasya cātmajau || (4.57.12)

sugrīvaś caiva vālī ca putrāv oghabalāv ubhau |

loke viśrutakarmābhūd rājā vālī pitā mama || (4.57.13)

อังคทะได้กล่าวย้ำความเดิมอีกครั้งว่า โอ้ท่านปักษี! บรรพชนผู้ควรเคารพของข้าคือพญาวานรผู้ทรงเดชชื่อ ฤกษราช ผู้เป็นกษัตริย์ทรงธรรม มีโอรสสององค์คือ สุครีวะ และ วาลี ทั้งสองมีกำลังยิ่งใหญ่ และบิดาของข้า พระราชาวาลี เลื่องลือไปทั่วโลกด้วยพระกรณียกิจอันยิ่งใหญ่
