पश्चिमदिशि अन्वेषणादेशः
Instructions for the Western Search Party
कोटिं तत्र समुद्रे तु काञ्चनीं शतयोजनाम्।।4.42.19।।दुर्दर्शां पारियात्रस्य गतां द्रक्ष्यथ वानराः।
koṭiṃ tatra samudre tu kāñcanīṃ śatayojanām ||4.42.19||
durdarśāṃ pāriyātrasya gatāṃ drakṣyatha vānarāḥ |
ดูก่อนเหล่าวานร ณ ปลายสุดแห่งสมุทร พวกเจ้าจักได้เห็นปลายเขตแห่งปริยาตระอันเป็นทอง ยาวร้อยโยชน์—สว่างเจิดจ้าจนยากจะจ้องมอง
King (Sugriva) went with folded hands to Tara's father, his father-in-law, of terrifying valour, offered salutation and said:
Dharma as steadfast pursuit of Satya: even when the path reaches daunting limits (the sea’s end, blinding brilliance), the seeker must continue with clarity of purpose.
Sugrīva marks another boundary landmark near the sea—Pariyātra’s shining extremity—to orient the searchers’ route and expectations.
Niyojana (proper direction) and resolve: effective leadership provides navigational certainty so the mission does not lose focus.
