ताराशोकविनोदनम्
Consolation of Tara and Counsel on Succession
सा तस्य वचनं श्रुत्वा भर्तृव्यसनपीडिता।अब्रवीदुत्तरं तारा हनूमन्तमवस्थितम्।।
sā tasya vacanaṃ śrutvā bhartṛ-vyasana-pīḍitā | abravīd uttaraṃ tārā hanūmantam avasthitam ||
ครั้นได้สดับถ้อยคำนั้นแล้ว นางตารา ผู้ถูกความวิบัติแห่งสวามีกดทับ ก็กล่าวคำตอบแก่หนุมานผู้ยืนคอยอยู่
There is nothing more befitting for me than joining the king of monkeys either here or in the next world. It is proper for me to resort to this resting place (pyre) used by this slain hero in front of me.ityārṣē śrīmadrāmāyaṇē vālmīkīya ādikāvyē kiṣkindhākāṇḍē ēkaviṅśassargaḥ৷৷Thus ends the twentyfirst sarga of Kishkindakanda of the Holy Ramayana, the first epic composed by sage Valmiki.
