यज्ञोपक्रमः — Commencement of the Aśvamedha Preparations

प्राचीनान्सिन्धु सौवीरान्सौराष्ट्रेयांश्च पार्थिवान्।दाक्षिणात्यान्नरेन्द्रांश्च समस्तानानयस्व ह।।1.13.25।।

prācīnān sindhu-sauvīrān saurāṣṭreyāṃś ca pārthivān |

dākṣiṇātyān narendrāṃś ca samastān ānayasva ha || 1.13.25 ||

และจงเชิญบรรดาพระราชาทั้งปวงด้วย—กษัตริย์แห่งแดนบูรพา แห่งสินธุและเสาวีระ เหล่าปฐพีศแห่งเสาราษฏระ และนเรนทรแห่งแดนทักษิณ—ให้มาพร้อมเพรียงกันทั้งหมด
