Sugriva dwells in that cave with four other monkeys. At times he sits on the top of the mountain.
Dharma includes seeking rightful alliance with the worthy. Identifying Sugrīva’s constrained life in exile sets the stage for a dharmic friendship based on mutual aid and justice.
Kabandha tells Rama where Sugrīva lives and how he moves between cave and summit, enabling Rama to approach him.
Strategic wisdom: Rama is guided to build relationships that serve a righteous end (the search for Sītā and the defeat of adharma).
