O brave men, pass from hill to hill, forest to forest in great countries until you reach a lake named Pampa.
Dharma is steady perseverance in a righteous mission: the path to justice and restoration often requires sustained effort across difficult terrain, without abandoning one’s purpose.
Kabandha outlines the route Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa should follow; reaching Pampā is a key waypoint toward meeting allies in the search for Sītā.
Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa’s virtue is endurance—continuing the quest despite hardship, guided by right direction.
