Lakshmana’s Counsel to the Enraged Rama

चन्द्रे लक्ष्मीः प्रभा सूर्ये गतिर्वायौ भुवि क्षमा।एतत्तु नियतं सर्वं त्वयि चानुत्तमं यशः।।।।

candre lakṣmīḥ prabhā sūrye gatir vāyau bhuvi kṣamā |

etat tu niyataṃ sarvaṃ tvayi cānuttamaṃ yaśaḥ ||

ดุจความงามสงบเป็นของจันทร์ รัศมีเป็นของตะวัน ความเคลื่อนไหวเป็นของลม และความอดทนเป็นของแผ่นดิน—ฉันนั้นคุณธรรมทั้งปวงย่อมตั้งมั่นอยู่ในท่าน พร้อมด้วยเกียรติยศอันหาที่เปรียบมิได้
