अरण्यकाण्डे एकोनषष्टितमः सर्गः

न हि ते परितुष्यामि त्यक्त्वा यद्यासि मैथिलीम्।क्रुद्धायाः परुषं श्रुत्वा तां विहाय त्वमागतः।।।।

na hi te parituṣyāmi tyaktvā yad yāsi maithilīm |

kruddhāyāḥ paruṣaṃ śrutvā tāṃ vihāya tvam āgataḥ ||

ข้ามิอาจพอใจในตัวท่านได้เลย เพราะท่านละนางไมถิลีไว้แล้วมาที่นี่ เพียงได้ยินถ้อยคำแข็งกร้าวที่นางกล่าวด้วยโทสะ ท่านก็ทอดทิ้งนางแล้วมา
