अरण्यकाण्डे एकोनषष्टितमः सर्गः

विगर्हितं च नीचं च कथमार्योऽभिधास्यति।त्राहीति वचनं सीते यस्त्रायेत्रिदशानपि।।।।

vigarhitaṃ ca nīcaṃ ca katham āryo ’bhidhāsyati |

trāhīti vacanaṃ sīte yas trāyet tridaśān api ||

โอ้สีตา ผู้เป็นอารยะจะกล่าวถ้อยคำอันน่าติเตียนและต่ำช้าได้อย่างไรว่า “ช่วยข้าด้วย!” ทั้งที่เขาผู้นั้นสามารถคุ้มครองแม้เหล่าเทพได้
