जटायुरावणयुद्धम्

Jatayu’s Combat with Ravana

पापानुबन्धो वै यस्य कर्मणः कर्मको नु तत्।।।।कुर्वीत लोकाधिपतिस्स्वयंभूर्भगवानपि।

pāpānubandho vai yasya karmaṇaḥ karmako nu tat | kurvīta lokādhipatiḥ svayaṃbhūr bhagavān api ||

หากการกระทำใดผูกพันด้วยผลบาปอย่างหลีกเลี่ยงมิได้ ใครเล่าจะยอมกระทำ? แม้พระภควานพรหมา ผู้บังเกิดด้วยตนเอง ผู้เป็นจอมแห่งโลกทั้งหลาย ก็ไม่ทรงกระทำกรรมเช่นนั้น
