खररामयुद्धम् — The Battle of Khara and Rama
Aranya Kanda, Sarga 28
तत्कर्म रामस्य महारथस्य समेत्य देवाश्च महर्षयश्च।अपूजयन्प्राञ्जलयः प्रहृष्टाः तदा विमानाग्रगतास्समेताः।।।।
tat karma rāmasya mahārathasya sametya devāś ca maharṣayaś ca |
apūjayan prāñjalayaḥ prahṛṣṭāḥ tadā vimānāgra-gatāḥ sametāḥ ||
ครั้นแล้ว เหล่าเทพและมหาฤๅษีทั้งหลายได้มาชุมนุมกัน ณ ยอดวิมาน ต่างประนมมือด้วยความปีติ สักการะพระรามมหารถีเพราะกรรมนั้น
Now when I unleash the golden arrows, they will pierce through your body and come out like serpents emerging from the anthill.
Dharma is affirmed as socially and cosmically protective action: when a righteous warrior removes a grave threat, even divine and sage authorities acknowledge it as justified.
At the close of the episode, celestial beings and sages assemble in vimānas and offer reverent praise to Rama for his accomplished deed.
Rama’s dharmic heroism—strength aligned with righteousness, earning approval from both heaven (devāḥ) and spiritual authority (maharṣayaḥ).
