The armour of Rama who looked radiant like the Sun fell on the ground, struck by the well-jointed darts released by Khara.
The verse warns how anger (krodha) intensifies violence; dharma requires mastery over wrath even amid conflict, because uncontrolled rage clouds right judgment.
After breaking the bow, Khara continues the assault, firing seven powerful arrows at Rama’s armour.
By contrast, Rama’s endurance is implied: he remains in the fight even as heavy blows land upon his protective gear.
