Araṇyakāṇḍa, Sarga 27
kharaṃ tu rāmābhimukhaṃ prayāntaṃ vāhinīpatiḥ | rākṣasas triśirā nāma sannipatya idam abravīt ||
As Khara advanced towards Rama, Trisira the chief of the army approached him and said these words:
Dharma is framed indirectly: leaders’ choices and counsel shape outcomes; unrighteous campaigns rely on coordination and persuasion, but still move toward moral consequence.
Khara moves to confront Rāma; Triśiras approaches Khara to address him—setting up the next tactical or motivational exchange.
Triśiras’ initiative as a commander is highlighted (though used in service of adharma).
