ततो रामस्सुसङ्कृद्धः क्षुरेणास्य महद्धनुः।।।।चिच्छेद समरे वीरश्चतुर्भिश्चतुरो हयान्।

tato rāmaḥ susaṅkruddhaḥ kṣureṇāsya mahad dhanuḥ | ciccheda samare vīraś caturbhiś caturaḥ hayān ||

ครั้นพระรามทรงกริ้วนัก ในสมรภูมิพระองค์ทรงใช้ศรคมกริบตัดคันธนูใหญ่ของทูษณะขาด แล้วด้วยศรอีกสี่ดอก วีรบุรุษทรงสังหารม้าทั้งสี่ของเขา
