Application: Before pursuing advanced practices or public teaching, establish foundations: daily study, qualified guidance, and humility; let aspiration be rooted in authentic sources.

Śruti (Veda)

FAQs

It prioritizes adhyayana—study/recitation of Śruti (the Veda)—as foundational before pursuing other religious efforts.

It criticizes striving “elsewhere” while neglecting Śruti; it emphasizes proper grounding in Vedic revelation rather than dismissing every auxiliary practice outright.

Undertake spiritual discipline with right foundations: do not substitute secondary pursuits for essential learning and inner cultivation.
