พระวยาสะกล่าวว่า “ดาวเคราะห์และอิทธิพลฟากฟ้าอื่น ๆ ในโลกนี้ ทำให้สัตว์ทั้งหลายเสวยผลแห่งบุญและบาป ก่อให้เกิดทั้งมงคลและอัปมงคล แท้จริงเพื่อให้กรรมที่สั่งสมไว้ค่อย ๆ สิ้นไป”
