पातयामास समितौ गजः परमदुर्जयः । स दैत्यस्तस्य पृष्ठस्थः शरैः कालानलप्रभैः

pātayāmāsa samitau gajaḥ paramadurjayaḥ | sa daityastasya pṛṣṭhasthaḥ śaraiḥ kālānalaprabhaiḥ

ในสมรภูมิ ช้างผู้ยากจะปราบนั้นได้กระแทกเขาให้ล้มลง แต่ไทตยะผู้ประจำอยู่บนหลังช้างกลับระดมยิงศรอันลุกโพลงดุจไฟแห่งกาลและปรลัยใส่ศัตรู
