Kālanemi

FAQs

Kālanemi is identified as a dānava (a demon/Daitya) who appears in the narrative; this verse introduces him visually with regal, radiant imagery.

It emphasizes dazzling, solar splendor—suggesting power, majesty, and a formidable presence, even though the figure is a dānava.

The verse hints that outward brilliance and royal adornment can accompany unrighteous beings; appearance alone is not a measure of virtue.
