Narrator (speaker not explicitly identified in the provided excerpt)

Concept: Unmastered anger, even in a cosmic creator, becomes a world-burning force; yet it also precipitates a necessary manifestation within the cosmic order.

Application: Recognize anger early; redirect it into disciplined action or prayer before it becomes ‘trailokya-dahana’ in one’s relationships and mind.

Primary Rasa: raudra

Secondary Rasa: bhayanaka

FAQs

It describes a cosmic event where Brahmā’s intense wrath manifests as a fiery, world-threatening force—an archetypal creation-era motif where powerful emotions generate tangible cosmic phenomena.

Not directly; it is primarily cosmogonic. However, it supports a Purāṇic worldview in which divine powers (including emotions) shape reality, setting the stage for later theological and devotional teachings.

The verse underscores the destructive potential of uncontrolled anger—so potent that it is likened to a cosmic fire—encouraging restraint and inner governance as spiritually significant virtues.
