ณ ท่าน้ำศักดิ์สิทธิ์นี้ เพียงได้เห็นใบหน้า (อันเป็นนิมิตอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ณ ที่นี้) ใบหน้าก็ผุดผ่องงดงามในโลกนี้เอง ฉะนั้นเหล่าฤๅษีผู้บำเพ็ญตบะจึงตั้งนามว่า “มุขทรรศนะ” คือ ‘การเห็นใบหน้า’
