वरं वृणीध्वं भद्रं वः पादपानित्युवाच सः । एवमुक्ता भगवता तरवो निरवग्रहाः
varaṃ vṛṇīdhvaṃ bhadraṃ vaḥ pādapānityuvāca saḥ | evamuktā bhagavatā taravo niravagrahāḥ
พระองค์ตรัสแก่หมู่พฤกษาว่า “จงเลือกพรเถิด—ขอความสวัสดีจงมีแก่ท่านทั้งหลาย” ครั้นถูกตรัสโดยพระภควานดังนี้ หมู่ไม้ทั้งปวงก็มิได้ลังเล (จึงทูลตอบ)
