उवाच सांत्वयंस्तां च वाक्यैर्विनयमिश्रितैः । श्रीराम उवाच । मातर्मया वनं गत्वा सर्वमाचरितं तथा

แล้วพระองค์ตรัสปลอบนางด้วยถ้อยคำอ่อนน้อมเจือความนอบน้อม. พระศรีรามตรัสว่า: “แม่เอ๋ย เราไปป่าแล้ว ได้ประพฤติทุกประการตามที่ควรกระทำแล้ว.”
