राधाव्रतिन ऊचुः । भाद्रे मासि सिताष्टम्यां जाता श्रीराधिका यतः । अष्टमी साद्य संप्राप्ता तां कुर्वाम प्रयत्नतः

rādhāvratina ūcuḥ | bhādre māsi sitāṣṭamyāṃ jātā śrīrādhikā yataḥ | aṣṭamī sādya saṃprāptā tāṃ kurvāma prayatnataḥ

ผู้ถือราธาวรตกล่าวว่า: “เพราะพระศรีราธิกาประสูติในวันอัษฏมีข้างขึ้น เดือนภาทร และบัดนี้วันอัษฏมีนั้นมาถึงแล้ว; มาเถิด เราจงประกอบวรตของพระนางด้วยความเพียรพยายาม”
