FAQs

The verse recommends observing the Rādhā–Kṛṣṇa Aṣṭamī (the eighth lunar day dedicated to Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa) during the month of Bhādra, in either the bright or dark fortnight.

It promises attainment of Hari-sannidhi—nearness to or the presence of Hari (Viṣṇu), indicating spiritual proximity, grace, and devotional fulfillment.

The verse emphasizes bhakti expressed through vrata (religious vow/observance) and highlights household devotion by specifically mentioning performance “with one’s wife,” underscoring shared religious practice in family life.
