Narratorial (speaker not explicit in the provided verse excerpt)

Concept: Royal dharma is expressed through yajña (sacrificial duty) and dāna (generosity), especially land-gifts and support of learned Brahmins, as a means of sustaining cosmic and social order.

Application: Practice disciplined giving: support teachers, temples, and dharmic institutions; treat wealth as stewardship; pair charity with inner humility rather than display.

Primary Rasa: vira

Secondary Rasa: adbhuta

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A vast yajñaśālā stretches under a canopy of sacred cloth, its fire altars blazing in orderly rows like constellations on earth. A king in regal attire pours ghee into the flames while attendants carry copper vessels and heaps of grain; nearby, Brahmins receive land-grant deeds and gifts, their faces calm with blessing. The air shimmers with smoke, mantra, and the sense of dharma being materially upheld.","primary_figures":["Dharmic king (unnamed)","Brahmin priests","Yajamāna attendants","Agni (as sacred fire presence)"],"setting":"Royal sacrificial enclosure with multiple kuṇḍas, vedi platforms, ritual implements, gift pavilion for dāna distribution","lighting_mood":"temple lamp-lit","color_palette":["saffron orange","smoke gray","gold leaf","vermillion red","ivory white"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: a grand yajñaśālā with multiple fire altars, the king offering ghee with a ladle, Brahmin priests in white with sacred threads, piles of dakṣiṇā and land-grant scrolls; heavy gold leaf halos around Agni-flames, rich reds and greens in textiles, gem-studded ornaments on the king, ornate pillars and arch motifs, symmetrical composition, devotional grandeur.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: delicate yajña scene in a palace courtyard, cool yet luminous palette, fine linework on ritual vessels, gentle smoke curls, Brahmins seated in a semicircle receiving gifts, distant hills and trees beyond the courtyard wall, refined faces and lyrical naturalism, soft dawn-like glow.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: bold black outlines, flat yet vibrant natural pigments; central fire altar with stylized flames, king in traditional regal posture offering ghee, priests chanting with expressive eyes, decorative borders of lotus and creepers, dominant reds/yellows/greens, temple-wall aesthetic.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: a devotional yajña tableau framed by intricate floral borders and lotus motifs; stylized fire altar as a sacred center, attendants and priests arranged rhythmically, deep indigo background with gold highlights, peacocks perched on pavilion beams, ornate textile patterns and ceremonial abundance."}

FAQs

It highlights large-scale yajña (homa/fire-offering) and dāna (charitable giving), especially bhūmi-dāna (donation of land) given to Brahmins.

The numbers function as hyperbolic markers of extraordinary religious merit, emphasizing the magnitude and intensity of sacrificial observance.

It presents an ideal of dharmic life where ritual devotion (homa) is paired with social responsibility (generous gifts, notably land-gifts) directed toward recognized religious recipients.
