FAQs

Aditi is a revered mother-figure in Vedic-Purāṇic tradition, often described as the mother of the Ādityas. Here she is significant as a recipient of Viṣṇu’s boon, establishing a lineage of divine favor extending to her son.

The verse emphasizes continuity of divine grace: Viṣṇu’s earlier boon to Aditi is mirrored by a great boon granted to her son, highlighting inherited or lineage-linked blessings within a dharmic narrative.

It suggests that steadfast virtue and devotion can yield enduring benefits, sometimes extending beyond the individual to their family—portraying divine blessings as consistent and purposeful rather than arbitrary.
