FAQs

It depicts an ideal, prosperous household—abundant in wealth and grain, well-staffed, and metaphorically ‘blessed by Lakṣmī,’ signifying auspicious fortune.

The wording supports a symbolic sense—‘prosperity itself’—while also allowing the devotional implication of Lakṣmī’s presence as the personification of fortune.

It implies that true prosperity includes not only money but also sustenance and food security—an important marker of well-being in dharma-oriented household life.
