विद्याकार्यं करिष्ये न क्रीडार्थमहमुत्सुकः । भोक्ष्ये स्वप्स्ये प्रसादात्ते करिष्ये क्रीडनं पितः

vidyākāryaṃ kariṣye na krīḍārthamahamutsukaḥ | bhokṣye svapsye prasādātte kariṣye krīḍanaṃ pitaḥ

ข้าพเจ้าจะทำหน้าที่แห่งการศึกษา มิได้กระหายเพียงเพื่อการเล่นเท่านั้น ด้วยพระกรุณาของท่าน ข้าพเจ้าจะกินและนอน และข้าแต่บิดา ข้าพเจ้าจะเล่นตามควรด้วย
