The verse warns that Kali-yuga spreads primarily through moha (delusion), making people spiritually careless and easier to control; vigilance, discernment (viveka), and dharmic discipline are implied safeguards.
By highlighting delusion as Kali’s tool, the verse indirectly points to steady Vishnu-bhakti—grounded in śraddhā, satsanga, and śāstra—as the antidote that keeps one from being swept into Kali’s course.
The practical takeaway aligns most with Vyākaraṇa/śāstra-based clarity: precise understanding of teachings prevents misinterpretation and deception—Kali’s “mohinādyaiḥ upāyaiḥ” works best where scriptural discrimination is weak.
