Narada (teaching in the Uttara-Bhaga discourse context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It asserts a unifying conclusion: across śāstra and Vedānta, the ultimate reality realized by yogic meditation is Vāsudeva, indicating the highest goal is God-realization centered on Vishnu.
By identifying the meditative goal as Vāsudeva, it supports bhakti as a direct orientation of mind and heart toward Vishnu—meditation, remembrance, and devotion converge on the same supreme object.
The verse emphasizes Vedānta (Upaniṣadic conclusion) as the interpretive key of śāstra: the practical takeaway is to align study (śāstra-pāṭha) with contemplative practice (dhyāna) toward a single theological conclusion—Vāsudeva.
