मृत्युकाष्ठानले मृत्युपत्रपुष्पफलैरपि । समिद्भिर्जुहुयात्सम्यग्वारे शार्चनपूर्वकम् ॥ १७३ ॥
mṛtyukāṣṭhānale mṛtyupatrapuṣpaphalairapi | samidbhirjuhuyātsamyagvāre śārcanapūrvakam || 173 ||
ในไฟที่จุดด้วยฟืนศักดิ์สิทธิ์แห่งพิธี ‘มฤตยู’ พึงถวายอาหุติให้ถูกต้องด้วยใบ ดอก และผลที่กำหนดสำหรับกรรม ‘มฤตยู’ พร้อมทั้งไม้สมิธ ทำในวันที่กำหนด โดยเริ่มด้วยการบูชาก่อนแล้วจึงทำโหมะให้สมบูรณ์
