FAQs

It states a phala-śruti principle: specific offerings in a rite are linked to specific results—ghee to royal prosperity and jewels to material abundance—then it introduces a precise ritual step (making a white rice-flour effigy), emphasizing disciplined procedure in sacred acts.

Direct bhakti is not explicit here; the verse reflects karma-yoga in a Purāṇic setting—offering valued substances with reverence and correctness. In the Narada Purana framework, such ritual action is typically meant to be performed with faith and dedication, which supports devotional orientation even when the immediate topic is ritual technique.

Ritual-technical know-how: selection of offering substances (ājyāhuti, ratna-dāna/ratna-homa) and a procedural instruction to prepare a specified ritual object (a white puttalikā from rice paste), reflecting applied śrauta/smārta style discipline and prayoga (procedure).
