Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents a rakṣā-vidyā (protective formula) where smaraṇa—recollection with faith and steadiness—is itself treated as a potent spiritual act capable of neutralizing danger (here, poison) immediately.
Although technical in tone, the verse emphasizes smaraṇa (remembrance), a core bhakti practice; it implies that focused remembrance of a sacred power/name functions as direct refuge and protection.
It reflects applied mantra-śāstra and rakṣā-prayoga (protective application), a technical strand often taught alongside Vedic disciplines—using disciplined recitation/remembering as a remedial measure in calamities like poisoning.
