Transliteration

śūnyayugmaṃ carayutaṃ tataḥ pūrvamataḥ param | śūnyayugmaṃ ca gotrā syādvāhayuktāṃbunā caraḥ || 63 ||

Translation

ให้เอาศูนย์เป็นคู่แล้วบวกจำนวนที่คำว่า “จร (cara)” แทนไว้ จากนั้นจึงหยิบเอาค่าที่อยู่ก่อนและหลังตามลำดับ คู่ศูนย์เรียกว่า “โคตร (gotra)”; และ “จร” เมื่อประกอบกับ “วาห (vāha)” และ “อัมพุ (ambu)” ย่อมให้ค่าตามที่มุ่งหมายในรหัสนี้
