स्थिरा भूसहिता गोत्रा सदाहोऽग्निरसः स्थिरा । नभश्च मरुता युक्तं रसवर्णसमन्वितम् ॥ ५४ ॥
sthirā bhūsahitā gotrā sadāho'gnirasaḥ sthirā | nabhaśca marutā yuktaṃ rasavarṇasamanvitam || 54 ||
ธรณีเป็นสิ่งมั่นคงและหนาแน่น เป็นผู้ทรงไว้ซึ่งโคตร. ไฟเผาไหม้ไม่ดับ และ ‘รสะ’ เป็นลักษณะโดยสภาวะของมัน. อากาศธาตุเมื่อประกอบด้วยลม ก็พร้อมด้วยรสะและวรรณะ.
