बालः पवनदीर्घैदुयुक्तो झिंटीशयुर्जलम् । अत्रिर्व्यासाय हृदयं मनुरष्टाक्षरोऽवतु ॥ १३४ ॥

ขอมนตร์แปดพยางค์นี้คุ้มครองเรา: พระผู้เป็นเจ้าในรูปกุมาร ประกอบด้วยลมหายใจยาวแห่งวายุ; น้ำที่เป็นที่เอนของพืชฌิṃฏี; ฤๅษีอัตริ; และดวงใจที่ถวายแด่วิยาส—ขออษฺฏากษรนี้เป็นเครื่องป้องกัน
