Narada (teaching in a technical/ritual instruction stream associated with Vedanga-style procedure)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It prescribes a complete sādhana-cycle—large-scale japa, homa, and arcā—showing that devotion is strengthened by disciplined mantra practice and consecrated ritual action performed in the proper ritual setting (pīṭha).
Bhakti here is expressed as dedicated service (arcā) supported by mantra-repetition (japa) and sacrificial offering (homa), expanding worship to include the deity’s aṅgas, protective Lokapālas, and divine attributes (āyudhas) as part of reverential, all-encompassing devotion.
It highlights ritual procedure (kalpa-style application): fixed counts for japa and homa, correct use of offering implements (ladles), specified substances (madhura dravya), and the requirement to worship on a properly established altar-seat (pīṭha).
