Sanatkumara (in dialogue instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches completeness in worship: after honoring the principal deity (Gopāla), the devotee also reveres the Lord’s āvaraṇa—His supporting retinue—so the sādhana becomes holistic and properly ordered.
Bhakti here is expressed as attentive service (upacāra) not only to Gopāla but also to those associated with Him, reflecting the Purāṇic ideal that honoring the Lord includes honoring His divine entourage and protective circle.
It highlights ritual sequencing and procedural correctness (kalpa-style practice): first the main deity’s worship, then āvaraṇa-arcana, naming specific members of the retinue for systematic invocation and offering.
