Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It declares that regular evening-time worship of Vāsudeva fulfills legitimate aims in life and culminates in the highest end—paramā gati, i.e., liberation through devotion.
Bhakti is shown as steady, daily arcana (nitya samarcana) directed to Vāsudeva, where devotion itself becomes both the means (practice) and the final cause for reaching the supreme state.
The verse emphasizes time-discipline in worship—performing devotion at sāyāhna (evening), aligning practice with sandhyā observance, a key practical aspect of Vedic ritual timing and daily regimen.
