The Account of Kārtavīrya’s Protective Kavaca

Kārtavīrya-kavaca-vṛttānta

विजयी विश्वजिद्वाग्मी महागतिरलोलुपः । यज्वा विप्रप्रियो विद्वान् ब्रह्मज्ञेयः सनातनः ॥ १०५ ॥

vijayī viśvajidvāgmī mahāgatiralolupaḥ | yajvā viprapriyo vidvān brahmajñeyaḥ sanātanaḥ || 105 ||

พระองค์ทรงมีชัย ทรงพิชิตโลก ทรงวาจาไพเราะ ทรงดำเนินทางอันยิ่งใหญ่ และปราศจากความโลภ. ทรงประกอบยัญ ทรงเป็นที่รักของพราหมณ์ ทรงเป็นบัณฑิต เป็นผู้พึงรู้ว่าเป็นพรหมัน และทรงเป็นนิรันดร์.
