Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: vira
It emphasizes disciplined mantra-practice: correct orientation (northward), controlled japa, and a concluding ritual act with water, showing that inner recitation is paired with an outward, grounding rite.
While primarily procedural, it supports bhakti by prescribing focused, reverent japa and careful completion of the rite—devotion expressed through precise, mindful practice.
Ritual protocol and mantra-japa method are highlighted—directional injunctions and prescribed acts with water reflect technical liturgical practice aligned with Vedanga-style discipline.
