Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes correct mantra-prayoga: knowing the mantra’s form (ten-syllabled), its concluding pada, and performing the established preliminaries and ṣaḍaṅga-nyāsa so the practice becomes effective and goal-fulfilling.
Bhakti here is expressed as disciplined devotional practice—reciting the mantra with the prescribed limbs and prior identifications (ṛṣi etc.), showing that devotion in the Purana is supported by precise ritual method.
It highlights mantra-śāstra procedure used in ritual science: counting/defining syllables (daśārṇa), and applying ṣaḍaṅga (aṅga-mantras/nyāsa) “as previously taught,” reflecting technical continuity typical of Vedāṅga-based practice.
