It links correct mantra-phonetics with God-realization: the Praṇava (Oṁ) and the designation “Īśvara” are to be voiced in a prescribed way, showing that sound-discipline (śikṣā) supports contemplation of the Supreme Lord.
By directing recitation toward “Īśvara” and the Praṇava, it frames technical chanting as God-centered practice—devotion expressed through accurate utterance and reverent naming of the Lord.
Śikṣā (Vedic phonetics) and allied technical recitation: the verse stresses sequencing and sound-accuracy (śabdataḥ) in inserting/reciting Oṁ and concluding formulae.
