FAQs

This verse functions as a Vedanga-style technical note: it emphasizes that correct word-forms and endings matter, supporting accurate mantra recitation and scriptural study—both considered aids to dharma and spiritual discipline.

Indirectly: Bhakti in the Narada Purana is strengthened by faithful transmission of sacred sound. By pointing to fixed forms and endings, the verse aligns devotion with careful śabda (verbal) precision in prayers and recitations.

Vyākaraṇa (Sanskrit grammar/word-formation) is highlighted—specifically, how certain endings or compounds yield prescribed forms, a practical tool for preserving correct readings and pronunciation in Vedic and Purāṇic study.
