Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It emphasizes disciplined vrata-sādhana: aligning practice with tithi (Caturthī), completing a defined japa count (10,000), and sustaining daily homa (108 offerings) to secure the previously stated spiritual fruit.
Bhakti here is expressed as attentive, time-bound worship—reverent mantra repetition and fire-offerings performed consistently—showing devotion through regulated ritual commitment rather than mere sentiment.
It reflects Vedāṅga-style ritual precision: tithi-based timing (linked to Jyotiṣa) and exact enumerations for japa and homa (procedural Kalpa orientation) to standardize observance and expected results.
