Narada (in an instructional/technical prescription style typical of Vedanga/ritual chapters)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It gives a precise dhyāna/visual specification of Gaṇeśa, showing him as the remover of obstacles (pāśa–aṅkuśa) and the giver of protection and blessings (abhaya–vara), which supports focused worship and mantra-based contemplation.
By prescribing a clear form for meditation and worship—hands, emblems, gestures, color, and divine companionship—it enables saguna-bhakti (devotion with form), where devotion is stabilized through a definite visual and symbolic focus.
Practical ritual-technical knowledge: murti-lakṣaṇa (iconographic rules) used in pūjā and dhyāna—how a deity is to be represented for correct worship and ritual efficacy.
