janiśca puṃstriyoryogaḥ śukraśoṇitayogataḥ | biṃdurekaḥ praviśati yadā garbhe dvayātmakaḥ || 96 ||

การปฏิสนธิเกิดจากการร่วมกันของชายและหญิง ด้วยการประสานกันของน้ำเชื้อและโลหิตระดู เมื่อหยดเดียวเข้าสู่ครรภ์ในฐานะหลักการที่มีธรรมชาติสองประการ การตั้งครรภ์จึงเริ่มขึ้น
