गङ्गामाहात्म्य — The Greatness of the Gaṅgā

हन्यतां हन्यतामेष वध्यतां वध्यतामयम् । गृह्यतां गृह्यतामाशु इत्यूचुस्ते परस्परम् ॥ ९७ ॥

hanyatāṃ hanyatāmeṣa vadhyatāṃ vadhyatāmayam | gṛhyatāṃ gṛhyatāmāśu ityūcuste parasparam || 97 ||

“ฆ่ามัน! ฆ่ามัน! จงประหารผู้นี้! จงลงทัณฑ์ให้ถึงตาย! จับมัน—จับโดยเร็ว!”—ดังนี้พวกเขาตะโกนบอกกันไปมา
