Suta (narrator) describing Sanaka’s response after Narada’s words
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It highlights the devotional sequence of śravaṇa (hearing sacred teaching) followed by smaraṇa (remembrance of Nārāyaṇa), showing that true response and understanding arise from God-centered recollection.
Bhakti is implied through attentive hearing of Nārada’s instruction and Sanaka’s inward remembrance of the Supreme Nārāyaṇa before speaking—modeling a devotee’s practice of listening and constant recollection.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is the discipline of smaraṇa as a devotional application supporting dharma and mokṣa-oriented study.
