मंत्रस्योच्चारणे किंचित्पदात्पदविवेचनम् । स तूपांशुर्जपः प्रोक्तः पूर्वस्माद्द्विगुणोऽधिकः ॥ ९४ ॥

เมื่อสวดมนต์โดยแยกถ้อยคำทีละคำเล็กน้อย (เสียงแผ่ว) นั่นเรียกว่า “อุปางศุ-ชปะ”; กล่าวว่ามีผลมากกว่าวิธีก่อนถึงเกินสองเท่า.
